Update-Vessel Sinks in Southeast Alaska


I’m not familiar with this vessel nor what kind of fish they would be fishing this time of year.  It must be Dungy crab.  Good to hear evryone was OK.   Update 12/29/10:  It was a hunting tirp and a faulty bilge.  Check here for the whole story in audio.

Sector Juneau command center watchstanders received a radio call from the Sandy M, homeported in Petersburg, reporting they were taking on water and were going to abandon ship at approximately 10 a.m.
